Salmon & Trout Enhancement Program

Sherman County Homeschoolers are participating in the Salmon & Trout Enhancement Program (STEP) this October. STEP is run every year through the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to teach students about salmon and trout life cycles and conservation. Last week the trout eggs hatched, and are called "sac fry".  Thank you to Oregon Community Foundation and Roundhouse Foundation for funding this project.
